Mountain Biking Bay St. George
Getting There: Gull Pond
Located just minutes pass Stephenville on highway 460.
There will be a turn off on your left down towards a group of trailers and cabins.
Drive down this dirt road till you reach the Scott Pollard Memorial Trail, this is where you park and the same entrance to the climb trail.
Instead of following the trail go left at the large boulder near the entrance. This trail is a bit rough and in need of maintenance, eventually it will link up with a more established trail behind a cabin. Follow the trail up the mountain.
Eventually you will come to an obvious boulder on your left go past it and there will a ladder. Area A begins at the top of the ladder.
Getting There: Asylum
From Corner Brook take the West exit on highway one. Just a few minutes outside of Corner Brook you will see a yellow gate on your right (this gate should be open). Pull in here, continue to drive until you come to a red gate and park here. Note: be careful not to block the gate or trail. This area is used by lots of walkers and dog owners.
Walk down the gravel road after the red gate, pass over the first bridge then take the trail on the right. If you cross a second bridge you have gone too far. Keep walking following parallel to the pipeline, keep your eye out for a loose path on your right leading down to the river bed. You can take this first path, but I wouldnt recommend it. If you continue to walk a little bit further there is a second path that leads you directly to the boulder area. It should take you less than 10min to reach the Asylum from the parking area.
Getting There: Pasadena Boulders
Head West out of Corner Brook then take exit 12 into Pasadena. Take second left turn on to Lakewood Dr. Travel down this road and soon on your right you will see a white "Knights of Columbus" building, turn right before this building. Just behind building you will see two large brown sheds, park here. Take trail down to PA boulders, should be about a minute walk.
